HOI 2 Game

Ok. Nothing seems to be coming out of that other thread, but i was wondering if some one wanted to play a small game (number-of-player-wise).You know, me - you - maybe some one else. Playing countries that will be allied together. We can talk more about it later. I have about a week before i leave for close to a month(3 weeks) so the more we play now the better, and can easily pick it up once i get back. Just respond to this thread and we can work out the details. Oh yeah, we'd be playing HOI2 v1.3a

Yeah, i've never played either (well one, a few years ago with a friend). But pretty much anytime today works for me. You have AIM or anything? Oh, i'm also EST - not sure where you are.

I have ICQ - and I'm also EST and have pretty much nothing more to do today. What country and what campaign would you like to play? And do you also have the 1.3b upgrade?

I was thinking maybe start from 1936....wouldnt finish the campaign today, but it always something we can save and come back to. I'm on 1.3a since that works best for MP i have heard.

Ok - what about we start at about 5 EST (GMT+1) and play till about 10?
HOI2 1.3 (a if I can find it, else I'd prefer 1.3b for better AI) and 1936.

Which country would you like to take and what difficulty are we going to play?

I was thinking perhaps we can play as Germany/Italy (myself as Italy) and go from there. As far as AI goes - prob nothing more then Aggressive since this is our first MP game. If you cant find 1.3a, i suppose i can try and find 1.3b (though from these forums, preferred MP is 1.3a).

Ok - found it. We'll try 1.3a then - aggressive is also my favorite but normal could be a bit of a cakewalk - would hard be also ok?
I'll go through the topics about router setup now, is 16.45 fine with you? I'll open a game in Valkyrienet then.
Germany is fine with me.

hm...looked at that Router thread but cant get to that page since i need a username and password. dont know how to contact my ISP to get it either (my dad is in charge of all that stuff anyways and he is out of town all week). Maybe a direct connect by IP will work?

Well i am totally confused as to time. Its 16:45 (past) on the Forums, its been 2 hours since that time on EST, and no show. Guess this one is a flop too...what i would do for a game!
