I uninstalled HOI 2 in order to make a fresh install, after I finished the unistall process I attempted to run the setup program on the Hoi2 cd. I got to the Installshield Wizard progress box, when it got about 1/2 way done this error messge appeared:

The other people who have had this error in the past have had a virus on thier system, either currently or in the past that had deleted certian system files.
 
I know I have no current viruses on my system as I just ran a anti virus check over the night. What steps can I take to get the install to work?
 
You could try a repair install of your operating system.
