HOI:2 - Still thinks it is installed

Hello,

I was looking at the guide to manually uninstall HOI2 and followed the stages until there is no file relating to the game remaining on my system but when I try to reinstall it comes up with an option to remove it (even though it isn't there) and an option to repair. These both cause a crash when clicked on so I don't know what to do.

Have you removed every HOI2 key in the register?

Removed the hoi2 folder?

Removed the installshield files?

It cant find anything in the Install sheild files so I take it, they were taken out

You did manually remove HOI2 from the installshield folder?
