Ever since the new update my dlcs icons have gone blank and my pre ordered no step back DLC doesn't load I own it but it doesn't work
please fix the issue and make sure the paradox no step back DLC loads for all players. that's it
I just want my pre ordered DLC

Thanks for your report, I'm really sorry to hear you can't play our new DLC. Just to make sure, did you try reinstalling the game along with the DLC? Could you please send us the game logs and tell us what platform you're using? (Windows/Mac/Linux - Windows Store/Steam/Paradox Launcher)

I am using windows and i bought it from the windows store or Microsoft store to be correct i did try all methods yet nothing worked

Alright, thanks for responding again. Before we proceed further, could you please try to do two things?
1. Create a backup of your Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV Gamepass folder.
2. Delete the original Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV Gamepass folder.

That will remove all the data connected to the game. It could help. If not, please get back to us, we'll try to figure something else out.

I have a similar problem. I bought Battle of the Bosporus and No step back together today. Battle of the Bosporus installs just fine, but i cannot install no step back, in fact it is not even shown in my library. If I try installing it via entering the key again it just gives me a message that "Steam Failed to Install (App configuration unavailable)", whilst it had just worked perfectly fine merely seconds ago with Battle of the Bosporus (I have enough space on my disc).
Makes me wonder if the reason is Steam or a faulty DLC, since I appear to be far from the only one encountering these kinds of issues...

I have the exact same issue. Have you bought the key in a key store or directly in Steam?

i bought it from microsoft
i figured out the issue
the payment method I used was bugged
so yea I bought it with a different payment method when it launched I gave up on the pre order song and now IM enjoying no step back.

I purchased the No Step Back DLC through steam and I'm having a similar issue. HOI 4 launches but the No Step Back DLC is not running. I see the files on my personal drive and the DLC is enabled and in my library on Steam.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, logged in and out of steam. The HOI 4 version is 10.5.2. Any help would be great before I ask for a refund.
