Italian AAR
While The german late summeroffensive in sovietunion had started to pay off we were busy trying to hold the allied forces around suez and egypt. The resistance against the allied north african advance had been abandoned. This meant heavy strategic bombing on italy and spain from alliedheld airfields in marocco and tunisia. Several times our techteams had to lay down their work.
It was extremely close at one time that our defensive position around suez broke down, but they did hold. German tactical-bombers helped to halt the allies in south egypt by taking out several divisions on their retreat through the desert. This was essential since our front had been weakened by a bad retreat of one italian army that had killed it immediately.
But after the germanled axis armies had broken through in the Riga-area and also around moscow we got motivation to hold out a little more. And yes, by late 1942 moscow and Leningrad had been surrounded and stormed. Many soviet divisions in moscow gave up the bolsjevik cause.
At the same time Japanese advance had helped by taking out huge IC-centres in the far east from the sovietunion. Winter positions was great for the axis. Then german eastfront-veterans started to arrive at the Mediterranian fronts. We began a small push at the suez front and the allied advance was stopped from northwest africa.
Victory was finally ours after many hardfought battles!
GG all! It was one of the two most balanced games i played in my 3 years of multiplayer hoi-games. Got better with very few crashes in the end

Victory! Axis forces stand in triumph in the ruins of the Kremlin. Our fall offensive against the Bolsheviks have been greater success than we dared to imagine. Most of the experienced German tank and mechanized divisions were gathered south of Moscow and with this mighty force we could push the Russian horde back and we soon reached the outskirts of Moscow. While our tanks were racing towards Moscow our infantry divisions pushed into Latvia and there many Russian divisions got caught in a pocket and destroyed. Our armies began then moving east towards Moscow
With a well placed paradrop we surrounded the Russian capitol and desperate Russian attacks to break the encirclement were hopeless. This marked the end of all organized Russian resistance to our armies.
After Moscow had been secured, we redeployed many armies to Karbala in Bulgaria, so we could aid the Italians in the Middle East. The Italian commander had fought the Americans and British to a stalemate in Middle East, but it was clear that the Americans and British had superior armies in terms of quality and number. All this changed with the arrivel of the German East front veterans and panic spread in the allied leadership with these news. They wisely decided to sue for peace.
All thanks for a great game, had been great fun.

Disaster
Everything is lost, The American people's insistence on not intervening in the war in Europe has led to the disaster we feared and warned about.
Soviet Union buckled under the heavy pressure of a two front war after glorious fighting, Great Britain where lost.
The US intervention where to little and to late. The US Congress denial of letting US forces invade mainland Europe where a disastrous decision, with UK subjugated the Axis where free to send all available troops to Soviet Union and chrush them.
The massive US strategic bombing of Italy and Spain where not enough to break these countries resistence. The low infra structure and lack of suitable airbases in eaast Afrika made any advance towards Suez very costly in men and equipment since the Axis had near total airsuperiority in this area.
We have but no choice to make peace with the Axis dictators on their terms.
The price the american people are going to pay will no doubt be heavy.
