The HoI LibrAARy - updates

Hi folks.

It will soon be time to update the LibrAARy for HOI. It would immensely help the process IF you help me out by letting me know about the AARs as you begin them and then later when they're finished.

Here's all you need to do...

When you start an AAR, please add a post to this thread telling me the following:

Country: the country you're controling (if it's multi-country or multiplayer, put that in too)

Start Date: Game date that your AAR starts (Month and Year)

Title: (title you'd like given to the AAR)

Link: Please include a link so I can jump right to it...if it's in your sig you can just put "see link in sig."

When you finish the AAR (either actually finish it or decide to stop writing for some reason) please post something to that effect here along with the game date you stopped as well. Just say "<insert title> is finished in May, 1942". If I see an AAR has gone a month with no new posts, I will mark it abandoned. If I mark your AAR abandoned when it is not, just let me know and I will correct it.

Roughly once a month I'll update the LibrAARy with whatever information has been given to me...but if you don't post the information here then it won't get added. Simple, no?

I actually have two things to ask of you- but fear not, neither pertains to an AAR of mine (as if such a thing could exist :D).

The first is how and when I could be of some assistance to you in compiling the latest update for the LibrAARy.

The second is that you read this thread- however, you might want to skip the first post, as it was pretty tasteless. The rest of the thread, however, I think you might appreciate :)

IEX Totalview: I will make sure your tale is in the update. Thanks!

If and when you are ready, I would be very happy with whatever ehlp you could give! Thanks.

About the second part, I read the thread and while the first thread was not very friendly, the rest was great. I put a response there.

I'll have a lot of time on Monday. I could probably go through all the AARs from whatever date you're starting with onward and get the info for you in a document, and/or divide them up by region, author, etc. I can't help with formatting, though, as I don't have excel :(

Thanks Sharur! After I get back from Church this morning, I will send you the files for HOI. How many do you want? They ware in WORD, not EXCEL so that will not be a problem.

Sorry for the slow reply, but the servers have been downright awful today! I think it took 5 mins for this page to load, and I have dsl

Anyway, you can send them to me at toddio67@yahoo.com. Good to hear that they're on Word, that will make things much easier. Send as many as you want, and I'll send them back as I finish them.

Quick question- do you want me to search on the forum and add AARs to the files, to organize what you already have, to format what you already have, or all three? If you want me to do the formatting, do you have some sort of template or example you could send, so I make sure I'm doing it correctly? Thanks!

yo stroph, I believe from reading this thread that you and sharur organise all of the AAR's by yourself!! so i am offering to help you. If you would like my help just e-mail me.

hats off to you two, you are doing a great job.
btw, i have my own AAR which is just started, it is pretty poo but here you go:

country: Australia
version: 1.04
start date: 1st January 1936
title: 'The cool Commenwealth'
link: here

cheers guys :D
