Yes, I thought I would continue with Romania. And how about morlak continuing with Hungary and someone else with rep Spain? I don't mind. What ever country I play I try to give my best, I don't consider myself obligated to Axis or Cominterns or allied cause.
{As long as I don't have any critical info on that country - but is this really that imporant with minors?}

Sniffle.
Once you get into the alliances (Like in, in), we shouldn't allow people to change alliances, but now, its okay.

Could someone update the setup to include the all the people that attended, or as many as possible?
Also, what should i name this AAR?
The Old Man Fancy and the Sea sounds nice, although i don't think its best. If i can't think of anything else, I'll use that as the Title. :eek:o

I may have overreacted last session, but it upseted (Is that a word, grammar nazis?) me the fact that you would be playing Rep. Spain.

For me, there's no problem on you getting back to be Romania, I shall take it while you're gone and until Hungary gets more IC =P

Ok. No problem :) Let's try to find a new player for Rep. Spain after the SCW. :D

If Morlak wants to play Hungary and you want to go back to Romania, even better! We will just not allow anybody else than you to take Hungary and Romania without your permission.

I am now going to update the player list (page 1) to include this.

Ok. Let's follow this rule for all other possible cases of [nearly]faction jumping.

Thanks! It is nice of you :)

EDIT: I made some updates in the player list but I still can't remember all players who played yesterday. Who played Sweden? Is any other human played country missing in the list?

So at the end, axis gonna get again romania. Good for us.

If someone likes to play more, i'm trying to arrange a new game more on wednesdays.

is it worth committing one of your techslot for 3 years to catch up with the German Blitzkrieg doctrine? After all, It gets obsolete in '43. Meanwhile it's wiser to research lots of other things - like all those air doctrines.

SU doesn't get air doctrine tech teams until '40, after the Great Purge. He still has about a year or so until that event fires, but considering that most air doctrines have their historical date set on 1938, it wouldn't be wise to research them so early.

USSR can go blitz doctrine quite effectively. It wont matter how many units Germany has when the russians org = axis org. USSR will win.

As for air. Air is useless to russia until it is Turbojet Quality. Tech all the air docs but dont bother building them till turbos. Just use mass AA brigades to deter German bombers, as you can detach and move them around in the matter of a week.

It is not impossible for USSR to be fully air teched and MASS producing Turbojet Fighters and Bombers in 1943. Wether you have a tech team to do something efficiently or not is neglegible. You can pick any old team and tech at .40-.60 or more depending on the year.

A smart russia will only tech critical techs and knows which techs to rush extra early. Having ALMOST teched the 1st air techs (to unlock the right columns) by 1938 purge is a must.

Blitz doctrine for USSR is a blatant game breaker in my personal opinion.

I don't think it is worth. With proper effort, you probably can have Kampfgruppe by the start of Barbarossa as SU but Germany will be already researching those 43 doctrines.

Human wave is getting better than Blitzkrieg IMO when you finish all 3 41 doctrines. Morale is more important than org when you have been fighting heavily for more than a few months.

I don't say that Blitz for SU doesn't work. But it's no miracle making you sure to win.

Nice!

Like assembly lines.

Yeah. Alksnis can make it. It is good to appoint him for his last job just before the purge begins because he won't disappeared until he has finished it ;)

Fellow players, I am sad to announce that my presence during this Saturday's session is debatable. I therefore impel you to take appropriate decisions considering my possible absence.
