hoi2: DD freezes

I've sent a bug report with this, but, however cool helping programmers may be, it doesn't resolve my problem in anyway.
I've been playing hoi2: DD for a long time with no problems, so I'm pretty sure the bug im experiencing isn't hardware related.
I do not use any mods, or file alternations either, I have version 1.1.
When I load one save, the game freezes exactly at the same time. Doesn't go back to desktop, doesnt display any error messages. To exit I have to do ctrl+alt+del. It's just one save, all others work OK, starting a new game also works OK. I've tried loading as different nation, but the same thing.
Anyone got something similiar, or a solution to this? Changing saved game or something, because I can't finish my game.
Btw. it's very well documented bug, it happens 8 game hours after loading the save, you don't have to do anything beside waiting a minute or two, and it happens always, and I'm 95% sure it's hardware and software other than game itself (like antiviruses) independent. I've tried reinstalling the game also.

You initially have done the correct thing, which is reporting the bug (with the save game file I presume) as per stickied instructions.

There is no need to make a posting here, as this forum is for helping people with hardware and driver problems. Basically, to get the game up and running.

As for what the problem is, I have no idea. That's for the Paradox staff to work out, using your save game file. However, you could try using an older save game file (autosave, oldautosave or the like) and replay the last few weeks. Maybe the game unfolds sufficiently different to not trigger the problem.
