HOI2 Doomsday patch 1.03a

Can you please give me some assitance?

I'm trying to install the old HOI2 Doomsday. I have DD, but I'm now trying to patch it to 1.03a. This is the link:

The connection times out, no matter how many times I try.

Can you please check this out, and maybe give me a better link to the patch?

Thanks Nikolai, neither of those links work.. I think they are both pointing to the same thing?

Hmmm... Mirror 1 didn't work, but mirror 2 did for me. Anyway, no problem.

EDIT 2: It's ok, that file did work. The first download was only 7mbs, while the 2nd download was 31MB?

Yes, that finally worked. I'd actually picked up the wrong file... and corrupted my DD install...

I'm really trying to just take a look at the Iron Cross map.. so I have to install DD, patch it.. overwrite it with ARMA, patch it, and then install IC over that and patch it...

You can easily see why having Steam is so much better.... can't you?

No, Steam is not better, by far not. To install Armageddon you don't need to patch Doomsday, just install and patch Armageddon. I'm not that sure with IC, you may only need to install DD + Arma + IC and patch IC. Better look at the IC forum section for instructions.
