We have nothing to do with the MAC version, you should contact the makers of that version for help or support info.

It is not a dismissal, we have nothing to do with that version, which means I know nothing about it or about Macs, I spent a grand total of 20 mins or so on a Mac and that was for an Undergrad History class, way back when.

So I have no idea about whether anything will work with that version, which is why I suggested you go to the MAC forums, where persumably they know something about it. Just makes sense to me.

There you go!

Castellon,

FYI - While I completely understand that Paradox has absolutely nothing to do with the Mac port (beyond, presumably, contracting with VP), you should be aware that VP is notoriously, unbelievably, inconceivably inept at communicating with customers. They basically don't do it. There is no tech support forum at VP (evidently there used to be but they took it down). Such information as comes through is back channelled through someone who doesn't even work for them. You cannot send them crash logs by email. Their official tech support is convoluted, slow, and difficult to work with. In the two+ months I've been visiting that site, through the awful release of 1.3b and subsequent well-received 1.3b(1) patch, I saw not a single post from anyone who works for the company. They are a black hole in terms of information.

As a mac user, I occasionally get good information there from other users, but not really much more than I get here. And, I am more likely to visit these forums as there are daily ongoing discussions. I am not suggesting Paradox put up a mac forum, and it's important that you let mac users know about the VP forums, but please don't discourage people from talking about Mac tech issues here.

The thing is Since I do not know anything about Mac, you cannot talk about Detailed Mac issues, for the same reason you cannot post in Russian language as I do not know that either. I cannot Moderate let alone Admin something I know nothing about.
And I have to ensure someone is not telling you to do something that could harm you or your system ...

Ah, I see. I did not comprehend that aspect of your responsibilities. In that case, I retract my request (though not my concerns about VP).

Well you can talk about issues in general, just not technical detail.
