Not unexpected, as I'm still feeling my way into the game system; I was wondering what it would do to my "FDamnitR" game {which IS on my public library} .

Next question, most of the videos I have seen gloss over basic stuff like a step-by-step on how to do naval invasions, or aircraft movement in a VERY fast sequence (30 seconds tops); and for a first few times player trying to GET this down into "finger memory" [where I KNOW how to do it], for those of us who have just a laptop and no other equipment, and are still learning how to use the computer, the video authors are going way too fast to comprehend .

I cannot follow folks who say that this {specific process} is done like THIS {and the author taps 3-5 commands, Bip, Boop, Bip, DING !!, done; in maybe 3-5 seconds} !!!

Give us time to WRITE THIS DOWN, as I'm coming up from a turn based game like Civilization V, and I don't HAVE (or want) "Grand Theft Auto" . I don't yet have THAT kind of reaction speed tempo .
Sounds to me like you need to watch a tutorial instead. Besides the in-game tutorial and wiki, there are plenty of them on YouTube. Try quill18's.

Woo! Thanks so much for the 'on_startup' on_action! My mods (and certainly others) have been using hidden non-triggered events that take a day (actually 2..) to activate and would actually fail under very strange circumstances..

@Havebeard
Is it possible to create a mod that adds events that change state and victory point names without the mod affecting the checksum?
Can you add any events without affecting the checksum? I don't believe so.

You could always rename victory points (and state names) via a localization mod, but renaming them via event doesn't sound like something you could do within the parameters you have set.

Now working on a game "Infra-, ", which is up to 32 screenshots, using checksum >2d55< inmy public library . As for @quill18, I don't know if he's doing HoI4, as the 1.3,? series takes a while to shake itself out . Ditto for @Filthy Robot, both have many games and series to cover . I still watch them, and they have good stuff to teach, yet I'm interested in HoI4 this year .

That's what I thought. My goal was to rename cities that were conquered during the war and subsequently renamed by the conquerors, like Gdansk to Danzig or Petrozavodsk to Äänislinna.
