Hosting problem

I've been playing Vicky MP for a while, and I have no problem joining games. However, I tried to host a game to show my friend the basics because he just got Vicky, and he couldn't join. The error message was "Unable to find host game at <my IP address>"

Any suggestions?

Have you tried to follow instructions from MP subforum? If not, I'd strongly advise you to look there, as it convers pretty much every problem you may come accress while setting up for MP.

If it doesn't work, just try hamachi, it is way how to workaround without needing to know much about setting up your router and/or network.
