What did he do, you ask? He had sex with the majority of the wives of the great lords of my empire. Under seniority succession, he got the crown. I then find out he only had bastards during his life and legitimized one. Not only that, he divorced his first wife for being "unfaithful" to him.....
The result of his dallying was that the majority of my jewish nobles either are his rivals or simply hate him. Couple that with the realm duress modifier that really needs to be revised and I have not a single supporter to my name.
That's how the Maccabees lost their empire. Now I just need to press unpause.
