I suppose the urban legend of ports 23000-24000 (instead of the correct 2300-2400) is one of the very serious reasons that many complain they can't join Multiplay It is after all a very simple thing to correct, and it is sad to see it just lives on even in "official" guides...

Well for a long time people sworn those were the ports needed.

I had changed it in a few places but that post is everywhere, I did not know a copy had made it's way into that thread thanks for pointing it out.

I have also tried my best to correct the wrong port post from spreading, but it seems to live a life of its own, and it has proven very difficult to keep it down...
