The newest book coming out is all about the history of the world from the books. How big of an impact will this make on the game? Do you think we will see alternate scenarios, like an Andal Invasion start date(That would be amazing by the way!) Do you think we will get more flavor events? Some character replacements?
Thoughts? Hypes? Concerns? Personally I'm drooling over this.
Link.

We can never have anything before the doom as ck2 doesn't allow map changes. Also an andal invasion would not really be that good imo like it is would just be one giant force attacking lots of split up kingdoms.
There will be history changes where there need to be.

I know we can't go Before the Doom, but what about AT the doom, you could play as the Storm Kings in-charge of the Riverland; fending off the Iron Islanders, Take Charge as one of the New Free Cities trying to regain control of Essos, and on the Plains of Dothrak, the Dothraki are beginning to swam and the Great Khal Temmo is about to attack the city of Qohor; And Thus commencing one of the Greatest and most important battles in the entire History of A Song of Ice and Fire. Also there is already a lot of the History IG, with the Noble Families of Westeros having histories before that point. And Heck, maybe there can be an event chain to get the Lannister's Sword back!

The Bleeding Years really does most of what you want already if I am honest but an at the doom scenario could be interesting yet it would still require so much work to do all the history that it is very unlikely to happen.
Also there already is a quest to get brightroar back.

Other than the doom I think the Invasion would actually be pretty interesting as it wasn't one big force but multiple groups of Andals migrating successively. It took hundreds of years for them to succesfully invade and the fractured kingdoms would suggest multiple groups coming into conflict with the andals.
