slightly different issue for me, on the paradox site, the game is listed as a earlier version. i have followed the instructions of how to update these on steam using the keys.
i've synced my games on the forum, and can see the good of war DLC on my profile - but still below its not showing at the top for me to 'manage' to get the steam key.
**granted i've only redeemed these keys on steam about a hour ago so might be a time lag**

Did you add Crusader Kings II on Steam to your account yet? It's free to play, but you do need to add it first before you can add DLC to it.
I’m having the same problem..it’s not anything to do with steam. The code is invalid on steam because I am unable to activate it on the paradox site.
