I'm trying to find a simple way to change the light feminine heads and ears to have a skin colour more like that of the dark heads, but because of there being a pallette involved, I can't darken the skin tone without removing the pallette, and GIMP (I have no Photoshop) won't let me darken colours within the bounds of the pallette.

Other than going through each pixel and darkening them manually, is there a simpler way to do this? Better yet, would someone with knowledge about this stuff be able to do it for me (provided it's not too much trouble)?
