How can you play non-Christian countries?

This question has been bugging me ever since I got the game about a year ago. I've heard of mods that can do this, but I've never been able to use them. I'm tired of this, and I really want to play as someone else for a change. How would I go about doing this anyway?

Why have you never been able to use them ? What goes wrong ?

Here is the mod

Extract this file into your main Crusader kings folder.
Make sure that the 3 scenario-files are copied into the Crusader Kings/scenarios folder

Run the CK15mod.exe and then start up your CK-game.


This mod only works with patch 1.05 of CK

it doesn't work with DV and definatly doesn't work with DVIP. In DV and DVIP, you can add them to the scenario start options, but you'll have to readd them every time you load a save and you can't create nor grab titles. You can't promote dioscese bishiops (sp sucks, I know). Especially sucks if you're starting kingdom doesn't have any claimedl and and you're sandwiched between muslim states. Bolgar Volga is and wll always be a fun emirate to play as considering you still get prestige since you can grant counts.

Yes, this mod only works for CK patch 1.05

Thanks. Apparently I needed the new scenario files for it to actually work. I actually was able to install it with no issues, but the nations didn't show up at the selection. I guess it was the files, or it was the 1.04 version that was causing issues. Veldmaarschalk, thanks for for the files, now I can play whoever I feel like.

Thanks. Super great mod...its only a shame that their aren't no pagan/muslim mod for CK: DV ....
