How can you tell if DAIM is running?

So I installed the 1.3 beta patch of HoI2 Armagedon: Doomsday. I then installed the Beta version of DAIM for 1.3.

The way i did this was extract all the contents of DAIM into the doomsday folder, but how can I tell if DAIM is actually running/working?

From the F.A.Q.:

Every AI nation with DAIM installed will have a short event saying "DAIM installed" as a reminder for you and to confirm that everything went right.

Which nations do you have to be to get that confirmation?

So far I have only played as Mexico and Austria and dont think I got a event saying DAIM installed...

I do get a reminder each year telling me that I can change one of my sliders though, is that any indication ?

There is an event for each AI nation with installed DAIM files (up to 7) within 48 game hours after starting the 1936, 1938 or 1939 scenario. If you use the default message settings, you might not notice events for foreign countries at all because they are only displayed in the game log.

The slider reminder event comes with DAIM, so it at least shows that something was installed.

Could you give me an example of this "DAIM Event" so I can look for it while playing ?

I think the indication that DAIM is running is that you're getting bukakke'd by the AI.
