How do crits interact with hit chance?

Do you roll to hit and then IF a hit is confirmed, you roll crit chance?

Or do you roll crit chance first and if it succeeds, it hits automatically?

Or something else?

afaict its essentially totally separate. your chance to hit has no impact on your chance to crit.

It's unclear if it affects graze chance

So a 25% chance to crit and a 5% chance to hit means you ignore the 5% since it's lower?

no it means that if you roll a crit for that first 25%, you hit. you also hit if your crit roll fails, but you succeed your hit roll.
