How do I cheat nationalism?

I am playing UK and I want to inherit India from the beginning, so I enter the cheat code "event 157000" which has the inherit-command, so I can inherit India.

But my problem is that as soon as I do this, people in India is revolting.

They didn't do so in the previous versions of V.I.P

So how to I script a command to inherit a country without nationalism/revolt risk?

Either edit the POPs in the territory to be any of your national culture, or add the POPs cultures to your national cultures (you have to do this before annexation I think).

Or edit the provinces you are going to annex to be your cores.

Those can be done through editing scenario files or editing saves or making scripts.

Or after annexation, edit your save and search for wanted nationalism values and delete them. Dunno if there are event commands for that kind of function.

edit. Assuming it is nationalism. I don't play VIP so don't know.

Sounds like your going to have to deal with the mutiny before you can have the 'Empress of India' event.

Try triggering events that lower your pops militancy.
