I'm stuck on creating a custom Airport DLC asset. The main terminal buildings are using subbuildings - they work as concourses where the plane stands snap to. Those subbuildings show up neither in the editor nor in game. I changed that with ModTools to make them show up. I used them as a template for my own concourse:

I was successfully able to use them in the existing Modern large terminal. On the left is my version (my subbuildings have obviously no mesh) on the right the original. Plane stands snap to both of them:

But whenever I start a New Asset in the editor and choose e,g. the Modern Large Terminal as a template and I use my own mesh as the base mesh, the plane stands don't snap to the concourses. They only do so if I use my own mesh AND I turn on "Load existing props and decorations", but then the original mesh shows up, too, what I don't want of course.

Does anyone know how to create a working template?
