Title basically says it, I bought my game off steam so I can't download patch

The beta versions were available for testing, but due to the final release of the patch I doubt they'll still be sending out downloads.

Also, does no-one read the sticky threads?

Yeah, it's been released, so it's no longer in the Beta stage, so sending beta patches out to people is pointless. The developers themselves aren't going around sending the finished patch to all the players, so you'll just have to wait a few days for Steam to get around to uploading the patch, or find another helpful player with a Gamersgate copy to share the patch with you.

i doubt the gamesgate patch will even work with steam.
