Ok ive downloaded a few graphic mods (granllonsphere's & and Gratianus's for example).
But I cant find any info on how to install them propely. Messed around placing them into different folders in the CK directory but no avail. Its probebly really obvious but im missing it.
All and any help appreciated. Cheers

Most of the files have to be placed in the GFX/Interface folder. If you unzip the files into a new folder (call it Gfx mods or whatever) in your CK folder and then cut and paste the files over the originals (or make copies of the originals first).

But graphics will go in the GFX folder (and its seperate sub-folders, like CoA, buttons etc).

All the graphics go to the Crusader Kings/gfx folder.

But in that folder you again have several subfolders
CoA = This one is easy, here you put the modified Coat of Arms
Fonts = I don't think there is a mod that changes them
Interface = This map again has several subfolders, but here you put in the character background, the country background, traits and the event pictures
Map = No modified files for this folder
Portraits = Here you put in the new portraits
Settings = No mods for this folder AFAIK
