As CK2 master players, you are probably aware that among all the monastic orders, the Dominican Order is the worst. The only power they offer you at rank 4 is the useless convert county options. In case you did not know, Benedictine Order gives you diligent trait which boost all of your stat by 1, and other monastic orders give increased tax benefit from church/temple holdings.

I am trying to create a mod that will make Dominican Order more powerful by adding a beter bonus at rank 4, such as offering diligent trait just like Benedictine Order.

The only problem, I don't even know where to begin. I've tried looking at the monastic_events.txt but I could not even find any clue.

Can anyone help me, even just little tip to point me in the right direction would be helpful.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Common/Societies then add in the power you want.

Then decisions society for the power to work... you need to point it to the order you want.
Then final touches localisations and you are good to go.

But do you have a basic understanding of scripts?
