How do I use Kaigon's army graphic?

I have problems getting the army icons from Kaigon's flagsite to work... I have tried with the byzantine purple one, but it doesn't work and when the game "Initializes Graphics", I get an error message telling me it can't find the palettes... How do I get things to work?

You need to place all the files correct as in the folders when you download it.
Units do NOT work in moddir.

That's a pity, just what I tried to do.

But on the other hand, you don't "need" moddir most of the time, since new units rarely overwrites anything.

That is true, but if one's gonna share the mod, the players needs to have the sprites themselves. Not a big deal, but still annoying.

yes true. If you upload a mod that points to 'new' sprites in the country.csv it will cause errors if the person using that mod does not have the new sprites in his root installation.

Oh well.
