Hey I am thinking that I would like to try playing EU II with outher players. Where is the best place to find partners and how long would the game take?

Well, you can always go to Valkerienet an d wait there for players to arrive. There is also a IRC chatroom... I don't know much about it... but you can go to the EU1 general discussions forum and find a link to it. Also, you could join or start a clan to meet people and find MP partners. 
You get to Valkyriet by choice, when you start the EU CD,but first you have to be online.

You don't have to register or anything for Valkyrienet? Because I can't join and my broadband connection do work...
No, you don't have to register. Sometimes Vnet may be down. If you get into it, you still have to go to the upper part of the screen and select a valid channel, before you log in tio where you might meet people... but people are not always there....

So even though there never are any valid channels I might get lucky in the future and find opponents on valkyrienet? I always see 2 channels but they are never valid. Well I hope they get some channels up and running soon. I've been playing EU1 on a LAN with 3 and 4 players and it rocks. Mail me if u need an opponent evenings in Europe. I've got a nice broadband connnection.
