I'm trying to create an event that removes my magistrates from office when the ruler takes office. I found a trigger for getting a new ruler but I can't figure out how to remove a character from office. There is an "assign_office" but no "remove_office" action.

Am I missing something?
 
take a look at event 1061 or 1062 in governors.txt in the event-folder. that can be used as blueprint for such stuff.

Thank you. Yes, Those events work for removing governors from office. But how can you remove tech magistrates and the Censor from office?

sorry, i misunderstood your question.

it seems, the assign let only offices replace with a char and so you have the magistrate let die for removing them and get a free office. ;)

I don't think this is possible now. Paradox, please consider adding a new character effect:
