How do you stay logged on to the forum? I can log on and read a few posts then I get logged out. It is rather random, but happens after several minutes. This makes it quite difficult to post.

One thing you may want to look at is this.
There are two domains that point to this board.
"Forum.Paradoxplaza.com/Forum/"
"www.Europa_Universalis.com/Forum"
So if you are logged into one of them, and follow a link that points to the other one then you will not be logged in for the new link.
The solution is to log in to both domains, then surfing the site is seamless.

What happens is I will log onto the forum (Welcome Big Mac) read some post, start to post reply, finally hit submit, bang - You can not post as you are not logged in. Try to re-log in, hit submit, Welcome Big Mac - you will be taken there in a minute, bang - User Name (not logged in). May take several times to get back logged in. Read 1 post, go back to thread list, bang - User Name (not logged in).

It seems if I log on to the Paradox site first it works much better. In fact now that I'm thinking that site remembers me everytime and HOI 2 never does unless I enter threw that site first. I just found that out today as I've been reading on the AAR forum. Still can't figure it out but at least it seems to work.
Same applies to me. Autologin seems not to work properly.
