It is slow... I've tried the game today and I was really pissed off because you need to wait a lot of time to end the campaign...
It got a lot better compared to SR2020-GC.
but for some things you also need quite a lot of time, the starting phase starts a bit slow because of the massive lack of industrial goods in practically every country, so you cant even buy some. (for realism purposes...)
the higher speed is still noticable though, especially when a few wars are going on, they dont slow down the game as much as in SR2020-GC.

Its pretty ffast. Be sure to turn off fog of war. makes it go at least 3 times faster on my I5
