How is the Platinum edition different?

My friend has just bought HoI3 for his lad and says I can have his HoI1 Platinum edition, but what is it?

Seems an unfair trade to me, either way.

I did look in the FAQ section, but it doesn't seem to mention it.

I think that it has core .91 which is a big AI patch. Not sure what else. I hope that a HOI vet enlightens us more.

The Platinum edition is just Hoi1 with the last patch 1.06c inclusive(so you do not need to patch it to 1.06c) and it includes an earlier version of the CORE mod v0.80.So you need remove that and download the more current version of CORE v0.90+v0.91
The CORE AI only effects CORE Games not Vanilla version.
