How long do MP games take?

Hi guys,

I have never played a MP game and would like to try sometime. How long do they usually take? Thanks in advance.

Our current game is in sept 1939, and we have played for three nights about 4 or 5 hours a night.

Single player games are faster. The speed of the game is based around you, and as Germany you don't need the game to be slowed down while Japan is invading China for example. Ase the USA you can keep the game at a high speed until the war starts.

It certainly would depend upon who you are playing with. For a rough estimate plan on playing 1936 to 1938 on "below Normal" to "Normal" speed and after that expect to run at the slowest speed or one notch above that.

Although I'm sure you can find players that will race through it too.

Our group runs about one year per session (one session a week) for 1936 to 1938 and then about a half year per session after that. (in other words a full game can run MONTHS).

All in all I'd say the average multiplayer game would run much longer than a single player game.
