Hello,
I dont seem to suffer greatly from attrition, other than in one northern part of Russia, next to denmark, I put 1,000 troops up there, and a month or so later, the little number next to the troop shows 0, and the count is like 700.

So, how exactly do you tell in the game how many troops a province can sustain?

Thanks,

Kuplo,
If you right click on a province, then click 'view' you can see the supply level of it- if your army size exceeds it you will lose troops until the size and supply are equal.
Finally, all troops without a conquistador will suffer attrition over time if not in an owned province.

Thanks Toby,
Is attrition of your troops in an non owned province calculable (sp?), or is it a random event.

Im just wondering, if it's preset to lose 100 troops every 30 days or something, then I know how often to keep sending troops to replenish them, or could it also be a total wipeout by attrition in a province that your only holding and not owning.

Thanks again,
