How much longer?????

Sorry to keep asking but when can we expect to see our beloved CORE out for HOI 2 ??? What stage are we at? Is it going to happen anytime soon?
Sorry to sound impatient......but......I miss playing CORE and am keen to see the added dimensions it will bring to HOI 2.

We finished work on the infantry and armor trees and they are currently in testing. We have been getting everything ready for creating an internal CORE2 beta which will allow everything to be tested as a whole which hasn't been done yet. Seems like the timeline for that might be before the end of the month (but no guarentees) and then at least couple of weeks testing to make sure that it is a quality project.

There are other things that you can do. How do feel about research?

I am stuck out in the Gulf of Mexico waiting for transportation infrastructure to be rebuilt so my relief can get out here. Being stuck at work doesn't make for much free time.

Other people within the CORE2 team have had other time consuming issues over the past year as I am sure many other people have. It seems like it has been one of those years.

We have not given up, nor do we plan on giving it up. Many of us in addition to our regular lives are also beta testers for HoI2. For my part, it means that I have three seperate installations of HoI2. One that is the beta version, one that has CORE2 modded files and one that is vanilla. I spend the majority of my time with the CORE2 files, but I still ahve to spend a good chunk of time with the beta. I don't know when the last time I got to just play a game of vanilla was. MDow

Sounds great. How about when the beta is somewhat stable throwing it out in public beta ? I wouldn't mind a minor instability if I can have better techs

The latest plan is that when we have something that will run cleanly (not major CTD) we will put it out to y'all. By getting it out into the open we can find errors much fast than the smaller group that will be doing the initial testing. Hopefully it will also be quicker at finding solutions. MDow

You can try and see if you can track down some of the lower ministers in the governments of Newfoundland, Colonial India, Federated Malay States and the Kingdom of Sarawak. I am also looking for local leaders in Portuguese Angola and Mozambique. MDow

Hi MDow,

i saw ur post and felt i should do sth to help, so i surfed the WWW but couldnt find any ministers or sth. Searched most for Sarawak and sent an email to some historian, hope to find out sth but its pretty hard.

Will try to find ministers on other countries
