That is me i am green. Ok guys i start with Diplomacy and go towards Central planning as Italy start in an crap position on that slider.

My idea for simply surviving past 1942 would be to start building IC and forts (costal as well) on Sicily or Sardinia...that is if you just want to survive

I don't know how WiF is different from vanilla, but there you can go easily for a WC. Spain, Portugal, Albania, China... everything can be in your range.

Naval Ducination

My next decision is too almost completely destroy my navy, i leave my 4 battleships my 3 most modern light cruisers and my transports. I make this decision to reduce supply usage as i dought i can control the med with the force i start with my aim will be to use these fleets in small 2 ship fleet trying to catch transports and small fleets. As such as soon as i can i will be making radar and fire control for my battleships as well as hull improvements. I suggest playing as itlay in WIF before you contemplate world conquest. It hard enough taking little old malta never mind the world. I general get as far as taking yugoslavia and greece then getting destroyed in africa. I have recently realised my mistake lack of HQ's i forgot italy only start with 1. My aims for late 39 early 40 are 9 armoured 3 HQ's as many tac as possible.

Good luck, you're going to need it. In my current Germany WIF game AI Italy took Malta, then lost it again a couple of months later, it is now mid-41 and Britain is marching on Tripoli. I also had to send 3 panzer divisions to bail them out when Australia invaded and took Rome and most of central Italy.
