How quickly do benefits like "Improve Relations", "Gift of Fleece" and "Send Gift" fade away? I used improve relations on a neighbor and before the 3 turn waiting period was up, the +30 bonus was gone. Is this a bug, or is it working as intended?

I think this is bugged, sometimes they last a long time and fade away by one or a few points every turn. Other times they suddenly disappear like you experienced.
