How to be Almost Slightly Less Mediocre Than Usual in Divine Wind Part 21
Skill Disclaimer: Though it may appear to all of you, based off of this update, that I actually have skill at this game, please don't be mistaken. In reality, I am still as mediocre as always, so don't go getting any wrong ideas. That's all I have to say on this matter. Just remember, you've been warned. (Also, I am not responsible for any persons going into to shock, either).
Haha. Anyways (Ignore that), let's start this next update. Currently, Hungary is world's leading exporter in mediocrity, as well as it's leading importer. (What can I say, mediocre traders, eh?)
But anyways, let's start things off.
First, Milan is reelected as the Holy Roman Empire, and I get a slew of missions to break blockades. Sounds fun, right!
Then, I get a new idea. I choose Regimental System, to lower my land maintenance by 33%. A reasonable choice, I think.
Of course, I epically fail when building a manufactory, and I accidentally take a loan. *facepalm*
Then, I build 3, 46 regiment armies. They consist of 18 infantry regiments, 14 cavalry regiments, and 14 cannon squadrons.
I also have made another army consisting of 30,000 infantry, and 14,000 cavalry.
All of these troops are sent to the border with Bohemia.
Then, (Hold your breath, folks) I attack Bohemia with the Nationalism casus belli.
Of course, Milan joins Bohemia instead of me. *sigh*
Oh well, at least my land tech is marginally superior to Bohemia and Milan.
Now, here is the most shocking thing any of you may ever see.
I ask you all to make sure you are seated in a comfortable position, and that you put on a pair of heavy duty work goggles, preferably tinted.
The peace with Bohemia:
Is everyone feeling alright? Can you all breath?
Here, let's have everyone calm down with this nice, relaxing image of me getting a mission to be Austria's friend.
Still feeling a little odd? Well here, hopefully this will help. I successfully complete the mission, and receive the boring old "build x in y province". Fun, right? Very relaxing. I think you all are gonna be OK.
I then declare war on Naples. Curse them and their audacity to own a province surrounded completely by me and the sea. (Tell me that wasn't the greatest rhyme, of all time)
I somehow manage to take Alexandria, and get basically every single possible thing I could out of them with -5 warscore. Works for me, I guess.
Then, I make all the little children go to Sunday school. I am so good with kids.
Apparently Aquileia thought so too.
And that's it for today, folks. I'm sorry about not posting in like, forever, but I was just procrastinating. So, I guess everything works out!

Nice update and you finally got some real armys. Like I said earlier Naples is afraid of you.
And like a true Russian, you've overwhelmed Bohemia with sheer numbers . But the best part must have been Aquelia deciding to accept annexation to a giant, infamous, mediocre nation. Your chief export must spread like a disease :laugh: .

I have to say though, the Bohemian conquest wasn't so crazy when you admitted you are above them in Land tech. How did that happen, though? Lots of investment?

Hey everyone. Sorry about the wait, again. I was gonna post something on the weekend, but I had like 6 soccer games in 2 days, so I was pretty wiped out.
But, hopefully I'll be able to throw out another couple updates this week.
Anyways, let's begin!
First, I finally repay the loan that I accidentally took a while back. My economy is perfect!
I take a slider move towards quality, because it's not like I'm gonna run out of men any time soon.
After that, things start to become deceivingly un-mediocre. Don't be fooled though, Hungary is still the leading country in mediocrity.
I guess Bohemia was tired of being a well-respected nation, because they soon accept a peace deal to form a personal union with me.
I take a new idea, which is Smithsonian Economics. I get 20% more production efficiency with this thing helping out. I like it!
After that, some of the fools bordering me lose some of their colonies in a rebellion. Unfortunately, one of my provinces joins in to form the USA.
I say "No No No", and force them to be my vassal.
After that, I get a border friction casus belli on Portugal, so I immediately attack.
I take the 2 provinces entitled to me by the casus belli after a short war.
After that, better cavalry is found. These improvements come after the realization that riding on the horse is way more effective than just running next to it in the traditional Hungarian way.
After that, the Hansa attacks me for no apparent reason. They claim that I have some of their "cultural brethren" in my lands. Ha! What a laugh.
Well, to drive the point home I take 2 of their colonial provinces off of them.
And, that's it for this update. I hope to post another real soon!
