Looks like the formal request is going to hurt you... (I do think it's ridiculous, though... your ENTIRE country gets destablized over you not handing a province you earned over to someone else, likely right after you were at war?)

Hansa must have wanted a dose of mediocrity.
Yeah. They should have just asked politely, I have tons to spare.

Yeah, well oh well. If you are smart (Unfortunately for me most of the time) you have 5 magistrates ready to do the dirty work.
Eatin' Bohemian. One step at a time.
Yeah, but the question is: Will it blend? How many steps does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

How to be Almost Slightly Less Mediocre Than Usual in Divine Wind Part 23

Hey guys, homy_dog here. I'm really sorry about not posting anything in like a week.
I've been working on my mod lately for Eu3, so that's taken up some time, as well as playing soccer. I'm also really lazy. But, let's not dwell on that. The important thing, is this here update. Let's get down to business, shall we?

First, I declare a war on Prussia to take my core in Ostpreussen.
UyFsX.jpg

Then, I also attack Wu for a core I have in one of their provinces.
PXTll.jpg

The Prussians quickly succumb to to the "mighty" Hungarian army.
I decide that I don't want to have to fight them again later on, so I just annex them.
nn7nX.jpg

After that, I take my core off of Wu. I'm glad their tech is so bad, compared to mine.
b2ihd.jpg

My mediocrity exports have been rising lately. So much, in fact, that Wallachia, Styria, and Trebizond join the Hungarian Empire completely!
K4B1z.jpg

Next, I attack Kashmir for a core I have in their lands. I really hate Kashmir, since they attack all the time, and I can't do anything about them since I don't want my infamy to go too high. Now is the time for revenge!
SNf0E.jpg

I take my core off of them after a brief war.
f9zat.jpg

Next, I get a really annoying event: Monetary Reforms. Obviously, my economy is doing horrible. I'm so glad that I'll be able to have money thanks to this great event...
OUdcB.jpg

Louisiana revolts from me and another nation, drawing me into another war, much like the one with the USA.
Like the USA, they are vassalized quickly.

Oh yeah, and my heir dies. Fun, right?
vintC.jpg

I get a new heir a little later, but he's only a good general. Great. Also, take a look at my advisers if you want.
W3IEr.jpg

Next, it's off to Tibet to conquer a core I have in one of their provinces.
8u4Er.jpg

I take my core, but I also decide to take 2 extra provinces. Why not, right?
PARSz.jpg

I get a new idea slot. This time, I take Scientific Revolution, greatly reducing my technology costs.
2HWlK.jpg

Next, my vassal Albania just plain gives up, and become a part of the Hungarian nation!
ZklOg.jpg

Then, something magical happens.
Something so insane, noone would believe it if you told them

I inherited Bohemia.
yZtEF.jpg

Man, *sniff* That is so beautiful. I think I might cry.
Anyways, until next time. (Hopefully soon, but no promises!)

Wow, good for you man. I, for one, have never inherited a large nation sitting on my border. If you could just annex Bosnia/Serbia (whichever it is), your map would be near-perfect.

That's a nice inheritance. Now to keep it. At least you have a land connection (my one Bohemian inheritance was playing as a Milan stopped at the Alps by an angry white blob...ooh pocketed lobe north of angry white blob)
Oh and Wu wu!

I am speech-less
I was thoughtless. Beat that!
Now PU Lithuania.
I would, but I think that requires large amounts of luck, which I do not have. Also, probably not enough time to inherit them.

Emphasis on the near. But, I don't really worry too much on making the mpa pretty.
That was a nice regent , inheriting Bohemia! :D
Yeah, best regent ever, am I right?

Oh and Wu wu!
Should just release them as a vassal if that happens.
Also, I have placed a thousand year curse of mediocrity and low tech levels on Wu. They will fall eventually.
You are almost done with this game, try doing this as Vijanangar sundays please :p
Yeah... in that game, I basically have a perpetual state of -3 stablity.

How to be Almost Slightly Less Mediocre Than Usual in Divine Wind Part 24

Aloha, everyone! Welcome to another thrilling (-ish) update!

Let's get right to things.
First, I get the only formal request I receive from the emperor, due to my large amount of wars over the coming months.
Also, Columbia takes this "opportunity" to attack me.
mjimo.jpg

Somehow, due to my immense amounts of luck, I get an event giving me +1 stability.

Then, I make peace with Columbia for 6 of their provinces.
Uv1T0.jpg

After that, I get some better infantry.
X7UT8.jpg

Then, Quebec decides to attack me for no reason, as well. Boy, and I thought I was mediocre.
2WCyg.jpg

I get another troop upgrade, in both cavalry and infantry.
rpEPX.jpg

Then, I get peace with Quebec. I seized 2 colonies, and took 4 other provinces in the peace deal.
pDwyN.jpg

I get a new king. He is only a good general. And his son is even worse.
JYzch.jpg

Then, it's off to war with Spain for my core in South Africa.
kWxq5.jpg

I take my core, and another province bordering it.

Then, I attack Mutapa after seeing a good opportunity for a target.
hSbqf.jpg

I then get a visit from the Oirats. Long time no see, eh?
H7Nae.jpg

Mutapa is annexed after I receive military access from Sweden.
h5ahn.jpg

Creek joins the "Let's Attack Hungary and Lose Several Provinces" club.
ka6qi.jpg

This is the part where they lose several provinces.
fFhJe.jpg

A move towards quality is taken. I am now maxed out in quality.
wySek.jpg

After that, I diploannex Smolensk. Luckily, I had gotten an event to gain +1 stablity, so this was only a gain foe me.
D1cQ2.jpg

Then, I complete my anti-blockade missions. My new one is to build a manufactory. Fun...
T5Uk3.jpg

After that, I take both of the Oirat Horde's provinces. No more nomads... Again.
JhyXj.jpg

Now, I think it's time to take my core back from Lithuania. I attack.
V958t.jpg

The Lithuanians are overwhelmed. I cash in, and take 3 provinces for 8 infamy. Could be worse.
xA2ZP.jpg

Finally, I think i'll end this update with a "great" event. Monetary Reforms. What fun.
WU9Vo.jpg

Anyways, that's where I'll leave you guys.

It's almost the end, so the nest update will be short.
Until next time.

er... it may have been answered before, but you're still a despotic monarchy in 1810?

that is... disturbing :) the "Hungarian North America" part counters that a bit though.

Why is it that every time I look at the map of North America, I want to gouge my eyes out in the manner of Oedipus?

You should be able to do a WC pretty quickly if you do infamy wars or convert it to vicky 2.

He probably wants a higher infamy limit, if there is a self-imposed rule against it, or if he just doesn't want to do infamy wars. If infamy wars are okay with him, maybe it's because of the stability hit- with how massive he is (I don't think his lands are that rich either), it will take a long time to recover.

I find it amazing that the other countries keep attacking you... It seems fairly suicidal of them.
Yeah, but like Avindian said, it's probably just them over-importing my mediocrity. And by over-importing, I mean by importing any mediocrity at all.
Maybe his mediocrity is rubbing off on them?
Yes, exactly!

Well, I honestly don't care too much to change governments, and by the time that I can change to a noble republic or something, losing that much stability is usually very destructive and time-consuming to recover, so I just don't bother doing it, seeing as I'm either always fighting massive rebellions or great swathes of other nations.
Nice Ireland :)
Yeah, it's probably the cleanest thing on the entire map!
Why is it that every time I look at the map of North America, I want to gouge my eyes out in the manner of Oedipus?
That's pretty justifiable, except for maybe the fact the Oedipus's "killing you dad, and having kids with your mom" situation might be a tad worse.
You should be able to do a WC pretty quickly if you do infamy wars or convert it to vicky 2.
Eh, for one thing I don't own Vicky II (Though I wish I did), and I also hate doing infamy wars in DW, due to the stab hits and massive revolts.

Yeah, I just hate dealing with the stab hits and resulting rebellions. But i honestly don't really care that much.
