How to build tanks

hi all....i've got a little problem...i have the technology to build barrels...i have automobile, artillery and barrel factories...but in the build army dropdown menu it doesn't appear.

searching in th "db" folder there is an other folder called "units" and in it there is a "barrel.txt" so it can be built...

how does it activate???

You wait for the invention. When it fires, it tells you you can build infantry unit 'B'. This invention fires at some random time after you discover Infiltration.

Barrels are a brigade attachment to infantry, maybe that's what's causing confusion?

Maybe he's looking for 'tanks' or 'barrels' when he should be looking more closely at his 'infantry' options.

Anyways, the invention fires and clearly tells you you can now build infantry unit 'B'. Maybe you didn't see it. Or maybe it hasn't fired yet, you have to wait.

You need a tank factory or there has to be a tanks available on the world market to build tanks, which are a brigade attachment to Infantry.
