How to create a new country

Hi all. I'm new at modding and am trying to create a new country from Canada. Tried the suggestions in Wiki but game keeps crashing. I think the game does not recognize my new tag.

can you tell use what tag you are using? It have to be a three Letter TAG.

use U01 TAG. unless your already using it.

You should make the name of your nation in the world_names file in the config folder.

then you put it in the Revolt file. put the provinces and the TAG that the nation needs.

Now you can liberate the nation.

You should now make an minister file and a leader file. without this, the game would crash. Put the minster file in the Minsters folder and the leader file in the Leaders folder. They are both in the db folder.
you should also make a tech team file and put the file in the team folder in the tech folder.
You should get a picture for both the minister, leader, tech team, flag, shield.
then make a NEW SENARIO! it's best to copy and paste the 1936 folder and file and rename it to what you want.
and that is the basics. you can now use your nation but if you wish to play it then I will show how in the next post.

OK then time for part 2!

If you wish to play it then you will need to copy a INC file in your new scenario. Edit it so you can put in your nation. make sure that you also edit the other country. in this case Canada. for every province you put for YOUR nation. you should remove it from Canada's file.

you should put the tag in the selectable country or you will not be able to play. and that's it! your nation can be played but it's not going to be included in events unless you edit the events but that isn't my expertise.
