So, I know it's possible but how. I know how to create a new map but changing the actual dotted lines that determine each city's boundaries is beyond me right now, any help would be awesome.

So, when I created a new province, It was called PROV3379 so I went to the files roman.txt and province names localization and changed roma to fit the new province name (that's the province I modified) but the game is crashing, is there a file I missed?

Did you assign it to an area? Not doing so but assigning an owner will cause a definite crash with no entry in the error log to explain it.

Ok, I got everything working but at game start there is an army in the new province and it's invisible until you select it with the outliner and have it begin moving to a different province, anyone know why?

Because the position of armies standing in that province needs to be done - Im not sure if you have to create a manual entry first and then use the map editor or if you can do so right away, but check the gfx/map/map_object_data > unit_stack_locator.txt

ok I got that working but troop is supposed to be roman but the model is the standard merc model, I know I have to change something in a file somewhere, but what is the file and where?
