Create your own country

Hi can anyone show me how to create my own in EUII because in euii its does not have the world name just like victoria does. So can anyone help please. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

i did all the instruction said but no success and how am i supppose to copy a scenria file when they all already in use. plus i would i appreciate if soemone can give me a file that is blank with no country name on it so iprobably i wont get the excel error(i click ignore the game crash). :wacko: :wacko: :wacko: :mad: :mad: :mad:

i did everything correct exzcept this it did not crash but when o am selecting the country i still cant find my country. Also do i need to add it to the scenario file that i want to start it?
 
hmmm.

i just help making a scenario for my country due to the fact that i dont know the province for u00 and because of that my game keep crashing each time i start loading the u00 file. Or it could be something else i really

thank you all. at first it keep saying to me that it was a loading a monarch for a particular but it already have another one and that i solve by re-naming the mornach that i open with notepad back to thier original name since when it open with notepad it change it to just palin monarch. now this problem solve i have a new problem each i load the game it crash when it reach loading script. i create a scenerio, province, name, monarch etc. but it still crashing no matter what i do.

I don't know in which stage are you now, so can you already find your new country in a list of selectable countries for the scenario where it is supposed to be?

EDIT: Oh, sorry. I overlooked your pre-previous post. So if you can find your country in the list but the game is crashing, then check owned/controlled provinces if there aren't duplicities, eg. if two countries don't own/control same province.

If you want some province that is already owned by somebody else to be owned by your new country, then remove this province from owned/controlled provinces and also city declarations from the file of the country which owns it.
Otherwise you can place your new country only in provinces that are in the beginning of the scenario uncolonized.

For example you want your new country to contain province Tirol, which is originaly owned by Austria.
- Remove from Austria - Open file HAB.inc that belongs to the scenario and delete there Tirol province ID from owned/controlled provinces. Then delete the city that is declared to be in Tirol. Save and close the file.
- Create your new country - Now you can add Tirol to your country because it is no longer owned by Austria.
 
I'm using this topic, since the subject is the same.

I created a new country for the island of Cuba and all is fine except this: can only change DP settings in 1428. (Grand Campaign)

Can you tell me what's wrong with it? Thanks

1. No color (Dark green) in political map, altough I edited the country file for the new country, copying the POR line and editing it to U31. (Country Tag)

2. Can only change DP settings in 1428. (Grand Campaign)

3. No city (latin group) shown in map. Instead an arrow appears. It is also not shown in city information (right-click, view)

4. Progress bar for army construction or colonizing appears in dark blue, making it almost impossible to see the progress.

Regarding all points: I would advise you to make sure that you made no mistakes with the amount of semicolons in both country and province file. For example, it sounds to me as if the game is reading an invalid value for the city graphics due to it being misplaced.
 
I edited the message because I found the problem. In the province file I wrote mississippian, with only one P, so that was the problem. With the DP settings I will make another review to try to find where's the prob...

Just out of curiosity, what is the purpose of the command dynamism in the specific country file (portugal.inc for example)?

None, it's a leftover from EU1 where, IIRC, it was used as a modifier for the amount of colonists a nation would get. It doesn't seem to be used in EU2 at all though.
