How to deactivate a title?

I know it's possible to deactivate a title. But i don't know how? Should I only delete the title in the titles.txt or what?

Well, I didn't guess it is that easy. And no, it's not a major one

Although, if this is for a current savegame you may run into problems by simply deleting it. A safer way is to remove the allow triggers and replace them with always = no.
