Hey everyone,

I'm currently playing ironman with the Byzantine Empire and made the mistake of granting the leader of the Varangian Guard the Kingdom of Anatolia (wanted him in my council). After I granted him the Kingdom, all of his vassals became independent and after I offered all of them vassalization, my threat level skyrocketed to 100 per cent. Since this bug is clearly not my fault, I wanted do edit the save game so that my threat level is back to 0. But I couldn't find how to edit it in the save game.

Long story short: How to I edit an ironman save's threat level?

Thank you guys very much,
Firenwolf

PS: And don't tell me I should just wait until my ruler died! He's 53 years old and cancerous, he could continue living for decades!

No-one - not even us - can edit an Ironman save at all. They are encrypted, for obvious reasons!

Sorry about that.

Well, that's unfortunate. I thought I did edit iron man saves in the past, but I guess that was Stellaris and not CK2.

Well, at least did I report this problem.

Sir Thanksalot!

There is a mod for CK2 with which you can un-ironman a save and then edit it, but it will then remain a standard file and non-ironman.

Hey,
downloaded it again and this time didn't check the box "save as compressed game" (or whatever). Don't even know what was going on in my head yesterday, that I checked it in the first place :p
So, now it's working and my threat level is back to 0.

Thanksalot and wish you a nice sunday!
