Hi, I would like to view the world with a free camera just to appreciate the gorgeous map that the devs created. I noticed the free camera tool in the debug mode, however, when clicking on it, nothing happens. (unknown command) Does anyone know how to do it? Thanks

Is this referring to the "Camera Face North" setting in the game?

If so, are you saying it works when not in debug mode but does not work in debug?

No, I am referring to the supposed possibility that you can freely move around the map and even under the map with some console commands that I saw mentioned in a Reddit post. It would be interesting for example to see how the map looks like in a horizontal perspective or to see the map objects zoomed in as possible - not for playing purposes, just out of curiosity and appreciation.

However, about the "Camera Face North" feature that you mentioned - I noticed that it only changes whether the map is flat or a bit like a globe, I cant set my orientation, I can only rotate the perspective with the right mouse button, but after the button is released, the orientation jumps back to the north - this happens irrespective of whether the "Camera Face North" option is checked or not. The possibility of setting my own orientation apart from just the north is another feature I want to see, but the mentioned option doesn't enable that and is confusing.

Thank you for your reply.

I asked backstage and they say this must be a bug. Please make a new thread in Bug Reports on it.

Sorry about that!

Thanks for your reply, I will make a thread in the Bug Reports. However, which bugged feature are you referring to? The free camera command in the console or the face camera north option in the settings? Thanks.

The free camera mode, that's what I asked them about backstage.
