I own all provinces in a duchy, but I can't create the title. This probably means that someone else is still holding on to the title, but I don't know who. Is there a way in CK to search for the current holder of a title, like you can search for a province?

Can't u use the province searcher to look for the duchy?

Perhaps, but typing for instance "Sicily" or "Italy" or "Duchy of Silicy" or "Duke of Sicily" doesn't work.

Searching for full title name works ... so "Duke of Sicily" is correct syntax. BUT, it only works if it is the primary title. So you can't search for secondary ducal and king titles.

§ <- That button. Under ESC

Not true for CK. The province finder is the question mark key, which on a US layout is the same key as the /.

On my keyboard this is on the bottom row next to the right shift key.

... and on mine it is SHIFT + '+' key, right next to the '0' key. So I guess it depends on the national layout of your keyboard :)

But that only searches the territory - does it search who's holding the title though? Especially Duchies, since they don't require the oirginal counties to keep...

Yes it does .. if you use the correct syntax for the search, f.x. "Duke of Sicily" or "King of Bohemia". But as mentioned earlier, this only works if it is the primary title.
