In my last game, I had a very big empire, and occasionally, when something happened in a province, I couldn't remember where that province was. I had to go over all the world map to find it again. And sometimes, some bug got me with a message about a province I didn't own (no, I usually don't enable messages about province rebellions in other countries and suchlike), leaving me to search in vain for it.
Is there any way to quickly find a province by name?

If you receive a message in the log about something going on in particular province just double click on that message and map will be centered on that province. Of course if the message apeears in a message box you can click 'go to' button in that box.

And don't worry, sooner or later you will remember them.

Tis annoying sometimes.

You go to find a colony or trading post after a short war and find that it has rebelled about six or seven years ago.

And nobody wants to live there anymore....
