At the moment I am busy creating some custom empires, and I have also scripted some system initializers for them to have preset systems. I have set all the custom empires to always appear as AI opponents to the empire I choose to play.
The empire I control starts on the correct home system, with not only the home planet but also the other planets in place. The AI empires however, seem to start on random systems rather than the systems specified by their initializers. Instead, the game only changes the system name, the planet name and the planet type to those specified.
I wonder why the AI won't use the systems set in the initializers and whether I can force the AI to use the initializers.
An answer to this question would be appreciated.
