I've discovered the cure to a disease that's ravaging my colony and I'm told any colonists who visit the medical center will get the trait removed. Except a few sols after that announcement I'm still having colonists dying! Flipping hell! How do I get the stupid colonists to visit the medical center in the first place? They seem to prioritize everything else over their own medical help and it doesn't help that I can't ship in new colonists to this place thanks to all the death.

And another thing, the whole "colonists are dying so nobody wants to come to Mars" is fine for any other point in the game, but when Earth is being ravaged by disease and it seems apparent that Mars causes the disease to develop slower, I'd think people would be flocking to evacuate to Mars where they might have a better chance of survival.

This is gonna suck, but have you placed a Medical Facility in every dome you own? Colonists won't travel between domes to seek medical help on their own. You need to shift them manually to medical facilities if they're not build everywhere.

Quarantine, most likely. I'm in biochemistry and medicine in R/L. Even when the disease isn't contagious, I don't want to risk it becoming so. It's better to cut-off population groups from each other and hope you can cure at least one of them, rather than the entire population collapsing because they're freely transferring the epidemic among themselves.

The problems with that are twofold: I can't shift my colonists everywhere no matter how hard I try because they ignore my orders to change residence, and they don't even visit the medical centers. Seriously, I have a dome with 170 infected and a medical center installed and none of them are visiting the medical center. I can't get ANYONE onto my colony to rebuild these lost resources and I'm starting to die off. If I don't figure out what's wrong, this playthrough is going to be a write-off.

That sounds very frustrating. I've not had the event but in general it seems like there is no way to tell colonists to do anything. Have you tried turning off all the jobs in that dome? Maybe the colonists aren't visiting because they're all attending their jobs...?

Remember that the game works in shifts and people only work one shift for a third of the day. There's at least two periods in the day where they can freely visit a medical center, which I've been keeping open at all times.

I know but I'm wondering if you see any improvement when they literally have nothing to do (no jobs, no services beyond medical centre etc.)
That might work, but my colony is in a state where everything is starting to break down from a lack of workers or access to adequate resources. I'm just going to have to call this playthrough a wash. I'm losing power for some reason too! It's so darn annoying.

That really sucks. Post a bug report. The colonists in this game are the worse part of it. I'm tempted to try a game without them, rerolling every time until my first breakthrough is the one that allows extractor AIs to operate with no people.
