How to get dictatorship-related achievements in version 2.x ?

What should I do to get the "Alea Iacta Est" or "Cincinnatus" achievements in version 2.x??

I already appoint dictatorship during a war, but after the peace, nothing triggered even the populares seats are around 80.
I also waited after new election, but after I get a new consul, nothing happened.
I also try to take the "request line of succession" innovation, but still nothing.

So, what did I miss here??

I am having the same issue as this funnily enough. Trying to collect Cincinnatus and Alea Iacta Est whilst doing an Pax Aeterna run as Rome. Have done the same as the OP.

Appoint Dictator as a Republic during a war, win said war, nothing happens. No indication of my Dictator stepping down, or indeed refusing to do so, he just serves his term of office and someone else is elected. Tried doing this with a Dictator with low popularity, seen this mentioned for old versions, kept flogging prisoners to bring it down to near zero but nothing.

Is the Consultum Ultimum Law required? Looked at other pages here on the forum but they're a year out of date. The only pre-requisites listed on the achievemnts tabs is "appoint Dictator" which is ticked, and "same Dictator steps down" but I have no idea how to get this to fire. Would being at War at the end of his term be the answer?

As far as I know the achievement is either bugged or not updated after changes to how dictatorships work in the current patch. Or more likely both. Meaning This achievement is impossible atm.

The achievement is bugged in 2.0. I had to roll back to an earleir version to get Alea Iacta Est.
